Do I need a reason to? Nope! But all I've written lately were the lyrics of songs. I'm overdue for some random blabbering, right?
Life is pretty good, isn't it? Not everyone thinks that of course... but right now, all seems pretty well. All of our friends are sticking together, and it's now been quite some time. I've felt a few little gaps between us sometimes, but I feel like they are slowly closing. Everyone goes through ups and downs. You guys saved me back in middle school. I'm glad I didn't change schools. ^.^
Ok, enough of the deeper stuff for now. Christmas is almost here!!! ((or any holiday you celebrate!)) Breaks already started, but, alas, I am being forced to clean my room. If you think your room is bad, you should see mine.... no, wait, you shouldn't see my room... I'm supposed to be mass cleaning now, but since everyone is at my brother's waterpolo game I'm home alone. But, back to the holidays. They've set up an ice rink close by, and I really want to go. A few years back I went after four years of never stepping on the ice. To be honest, I stunk before. sweatdrop I started rollar blading though during those years and now it's so much easier! And if you put your weight on one foot you start spinning on the spot! (though it hurts when you don't catch yourself and fall. =P)
I had to miss my winter ball this year, due to a chorus performance. But I have to say, the performance went so well! I'm happy I chose that, even if the ball was apparently the best regardless of the turnout. We were able to sing one particular song, "Song of the Angels," rather well. ((though I had a coughing fit at one point in the middle of it and we were recording -.-'''... though I don't think anyone heard me...)) The first time we did that song... well, let's just say it's not supposed to stop in the middle. Suddenly, at one part, everyone just kind of... trickled off, and it went dead silent. My thoughts: Oh my god.... this isn't supposed to happen... it's not supposed... to go... silent... Fortunately the song is rather... insane in a sense... so the audience didn't notice. You have four parts going off in directions, and at parts we're singing our notes at whatever tempo and order we wish. We wisper words, and we clash like you wouldn't believe. All intentionally... Quite insane. However, this time went almost without a hitch. I feel pretty proud. ^.^
Eh, there was something else I was going to blabber about, but I can't remember. I'm listening to Rent, and I began singing... everything else slipped my mind. I saw Rent a little bit ago, and it was almost a little overwhelming, but now I'm starting to appreciate it more. I'd like to see it again. *nod*
Oh! I'm trying to write a song on the piano. It's pretty horrible, and I only have three parts definate.... sort of. I kind of improvise the rest, but it's just notes with corrisponding chords that sound right. I'm also trying to learn the song "As You Sleep" by Somthing Corperate. I was trying to get someone to teach me at chorus, but even though I waited, I was ignored. No, I wasn't pressing. That girl just doesn't like me that much. She taught about three other people. However, I watched it so many times that I can kind of play the beginning... but I can't remember a certain part. I curse myself for not paying more attention. Ah well. ^.^
Listing to Rent still, Finale B. One of my favorites out of the music, along with I Should Tell You, What You Own, Seasons of Love (regardless of how overplayed it is. We sang it in chorus, and our accompanist snazzed up the ending.), Another Day, and kind of La Vie Boheme.
