In sorrow, hearts deserve to change their minds.
The burns can heal yet churn a life.
Misery can lead an unexpected.
Two lovers in the sky.
One looks down and they fall and die.
One more look and they can be resurrected, given in time...
The hourglass has taken a crash.
The grains of sand amongst the glass.
Yet time continues missing less than a second.
A heart beats then skips a note.
And in the end it was known as a joke.
The pun came forth yet no one even mentioned, but given in time...
I don't want to lie,
And let my body rot and cry in the sand.
What's the point in that anyways?
And though the sanity aches
From all the unforgivened mistakes to yourself.
Who's to say that they can't change given in time...
Though I'm shaking,
I am saved.
