I can't believe I'm the only girl in the jazz band this year! It stinks! And it's not as fun as it was last year with all the seniors around... man, I miss them already! and we're playing a bunch of easy stuff! I hate it! And band is just as bad, if not worse! But atleast I still have Stinky there to make fun of... and today Mr. Rouse said "this homework is the same as what we just did, only different." and I said, "what?! that makes no sense!" even though I knew what he meant, it's my job, as a student, to criticize the teachers! It was funny cuz I was mocking him... "this pencil is the same as this book... only different." lol... I thought it was funny anyways... it's way funner to tease the teachers than when they tease you... only because they have the power to change your grade... lol. and there's only 20 people left in my class this year! when I was in 8th grade, my class was like 48 ppl, which is nothing compared to this year's 8th grade class, but now only like 6 or 7 of that original class are left! I suppose the reason why this year's 8th grade class is so incredibly large is because people read that article in the newspaper about how we don't get anything from the district, because there are "bigger fish in the ocean!" which I think is b.s. but whatever... so yeah, I think it's awesome that people are actually starting to pay attention to us! It's mind-blowing how quickly things can change! this year is not at all like last year... in a good, but mostly bad way... seniors are gone, the hallways are 10 times more crowded than usual, and all the class rooms are always full, there's never an empty classroom during school hours, except for at lunch time... oh, and there's longer lines at the lunch vender... that's why I've started bringing my own lunch... domokun
