It's so nice to not be the only oboist in my band anymore... even if our band does stink this year... I just hope we're not gonna play grade 3's all year long! especially when it comes to contest! but I don't want to play Monument again, though... I hate that song! oh! I bought my new dress for homecoming today! It's like a silky teal, and I love it! I don't even know when homecoming is, but I can't wait! and hopefully I'll be going to prom this year... last year I didn't go cuz I didn't have any one to go with. I hope I can convince Mrs. Hoyt to do a masquerade theme for the seniors! I'm so excited that we get to plan prom this year! It's gonna be awesome! I just don't know who I'll go with... but there's plenty of time to figure that out, I guess... confused
