Julie is live from Philadelphia. Minus her spell checker so please excuse any bad spelling on her part, now, on with the entry.
So we got to Leila's house around one. [We being my mom and I]And then drove to the airport with them. All the way to the gate my mom is hugging me and like, "Bye Julie! I love you! Call the millisecond you get in!" Finally Leila, her grandma, and I are actually at the gate with no mom in sight and so we go to get food while Leila's grandma watches to bags.
I get some pizza from Pizza Hut and then we go to Taco Bell to get something. [Leila on the side: Two tacos for 99 cents at Jack in the Box.] It took forever. Seriously. I finished my pan pizza and whole bottle of water and it still wasn't there. Annoying. So I get up [leaving Leila's bag on the counter] and go over to Leila to ask "How much longer?" and she half screams. "JULIE! MY BAG!" I look around, it's still there. "I can see it Leila." "You don't leave a bag alone in the airport!" Whoops. I always forget about that. So I turn back around and sit and wait for her.
We get some candy for her grandma [Wow right? I don't know any grandmas who like candy.] and head back and wait for the flight. So we finally board and so begins the 3 1/2 hour flight of math. Math? Yes well. I thought this would be a good time to get all my math work for the summer done so I brought it along as my only entertainment. Stupid. I got so bored before we even took off.
But yeah.
We finally get there and I get off and meet my grandma, say goodbye to Leila and her grandma, and go with my grandma to her car. Oddly it's hotter here than it is in Texas. Global Warming at it's best. She goes on about what we're going to do and I'm half paying attention half-wondering what everybody else is doing when she says something about swimming with sharks. I snap into attention and I'm like: "Whaaat?" She's like, "I was thinking we could go down to the Aquarium and they have a swimming with sharks thing, would you like to do that?" I just nod. It sounds fun but if we actually did it I'm be scared out of my mind.
So we get back to her apartment and I kiss and hug grandpa and he tells me I look so beautiful [Which I fine a bit odd since he's blind] and I give them their gifts. So now my grandma is almost literally stuffing food down my throat.
"Do you want a yogurt?"
"Uh. Yeah, sure. Thank you." -gets one from the fridge-
"You want some almonds?"
"No thank you grandma."
-pause- "You want some cherries."
"No it's okay, I'm not that hungry."
"You want some milk?"
"No I'm good grandma."
"You want a bottled water?"
"Yeah, sure."
"You want some almonds."
"Yeah, okay..."

You see what I mean?
And on side note, this room has an odor in it and since I have a cold it's really annoying my nose. I mention it and she goes on and on about what it could and couldn't be. Even after I tell her I can ignore it she keeps going on and on.
Heh.
Well this'll be interesting.
Sleep well everyone.

<3Julie

You can't attribute regular spikes and dips in temperature to global warming. It is a real threat, but obviously there are going to be regular fluctuations and irregularities in weather patterns, regardless of what we are doing to ******** up the planet.
You people and your eagerness to use minor events as fuel for global warming arguments. Kristen argued that global warming couldn't be happening because it snowed in Houston two years ago-- blaming heat in Philadelphia on global warming is equally foolish.
Also, Philadelphia isn't always cooler than Houston-- mostly just in the winter.

Yeah, don't leave bags unattended at the airport.

xD
My favorite part of this entry is "He told me I'm beautiful, which I found odd because he's blind."

Yeah, well your grandmother practically lives to pamper you. And so does mine.
:3
