I’m going to let you in on a little secret, rebels - Futurama is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. Along with Mission Hill, the Critic and the Simpsons (all of which used very interesting means of animation), Futurama stands as a shining city on the hill for what a good show should be. And, like many other male fans that’re too scared to admit it, I cried when Fry couldn’t play his opera at the very end of the series.
But when that happened, I was floored — how could they cancel this show? This is even funnier than the Simpsons! I couldn’t believe it, and I never did. I held out hope that it’d return.
And thanks to the hard work of the guys at the New York Post, it’s now been confirmed that Futurama is officially heading to Comedy Central for 13 new episodes, with a straight-to-DVD release right after the full air. All of the original voice actors signed deals, and it’s officially official.

((NOTE: I still like those shows, cept for the Critic... never got into it.))
