I've always wondered why death isn't the most feared creature of all,
we're all scared of something else other than that until we realize that Death is just
standing beside us and patting the side of our shoulder and whispering to us like
he's offering us a chance to run, it's like we're the ultimate hunt for him, we're the
prey and he's the hunter. But despite that, even we can commit such an act like if
we've caught an insect that's always been looked down upon and is considered to
be crushed beneath our feet, I know we've all crushed a lot of parasites or at least
sprayed them or poisoned them though there is however one creature i'd rather not
exterminate, the Vietnamese Centipede, yes despite everyone's shivering retreat in
disgust and fear or fight, somehow I don't want to kill such a small creature, it's
harmful yes but why is there a part of me that wants to keep it as a pet? I have not
a clue and every time I think about a centipede I imagine it crawling on my arm like
a pet snake, I've even though of drawing a character who's pet is a rather large
centipede wrapping itself around his/her neck like a scarf, yeah quite an interesting
look at a dangerous insect as a pet. Yet you have to exterminate what is looked at
as repulsive and fearful, that's just how we all are, even though some are more
passive towards all living life forms. Maybe one day if I ever find another one I'll
keep it, as for the small one's I'll see if I can put em somewhere far from civilization
so if I find a little one, my best bet of letting it live another day is a hike into the
woods and getting lost in nature's fauna. It's Nothing Deadly, it's just a predator that
doesn't want to be strangled by human hands.
