So today I decided to treat all of you lovely readers with a list of all the phrases and sayings that get on my nerves. Some of them are said all of the time, and shouldn't bother me. But they do. Who knows why.
1.) "Diamond in the rough." Jafar said this one SO FREAKIN' MUCH that I got sick and tired of it. Every time I hear somebody say it, I grind my teeth. A lot.
2.) "I'm OCD like that." Obviously these people don't know what OCD is. It's not like a "I must keep everything clean!!!11!" obsession; OCD is irrational obsessions with outragious ideas such as "I have to touch each of these doorknobs or my son will get cancer!" It just bothers me that people use it like it means they are germ-aphobes.
3.) "Let's put a pin in it." The way the agent in Bolt says this makes me want to eat my own head. It's so annoying. There's really no other explination for it besides that I hate him and thus hate the phrase.
4.) "Buffer." Technically it's only one word. But when people say they have to let a video "buffer," I just think "NO. IT'S LOADING. IT'S FREAKIN' LOADING." Buffer just sounds STUPID. Sorry, but it DOES.
5.) "Wait." When I'm having a fight with someone and they tell me "Wait," I clench my teeth and think, "Don't punch them, Catherine," but I end up in their face throwing my arms around in the air and screaming things that don't qualify as English.
6.) "Not gonna lie..." I didn't expect you to. What incentive have you to lie to me about your favorite ice cream flavor? "Not gonna lie, I like rocky road!" Well I don't believe you; you like chocolate chip cookie dough. It doesn't work in ANY context.
So go ahead and tell me what words and phrases get on your nerves, or feel free to tell me off for being overly mean. Whichever you feel like is best. biggrin

You know what else? No is ocd. OCD is a disorder, you cant BE it. you can only HAVE it. You can't be obsessive compulsive disorder, you can only have obsessive compulsive disorder! GAHHHHH
I say buffer, but not for youtube, then its loading. But if the video actually says its buffering, then yes, i'll say the same.
But along with this, I don't really care for the word ebil. . . :/ no reason really, just . . . yea. awkward . . .
MAN IT TORNADED BIG TIME!
