Throughout the span of a relationship, there's always those days when everything seemed perfect. When he still bought you flowers, cards, and chocolates. When he promised you that you're the only one in his heart and eyes. When he promised he'd never leave or hurt you no matter what. When he'd look at you with all the love in the world that you'd have to believe him. No way those eyes could whisper lies. No not him.
But of course, he does end up lying to you. You find the holes in his promises, the glance in his eyes, a little sparkle guilt, and he hurts you. Hurts you like no one else could at the moment because the moment had been his. Because you believed in empty promises and your own foolish broken dreams.
And now that think you called love is tainted. With regret with sadness and you don't even recognize it anymore. Is it love or is it hate? Had it always looked like that, so hard to distinguish? And before you know it, your attached to this beautiful or ugly thing that's so unknown to you like a stranger. And somehow, you just can't let go...
But then again, it'll just cycle all over again.
