*seethes* I'M GOING TO ******** KILL MY GOD DAMN COMPUTER.
So I started it up the morning. Clicked on Firefox.
******** WOULDN'T OPEN.
Quick scanned, then did a full scan. Ended up finding 6 things, which were dealt with. Tried opening it again.
******** STILL WOULDN'T OPEN.
Looked at running processes. Firefox was on there three times. Ended them, tried again and then again.
Defragged my harddrive, which took oh, FOUR HOURS. But I did nearly finish this damn book, so I guess that wasn't as bad as it could have been.
Restarted my computer. Twice.
FINALLY.
----------------------------------------------
Okay. So, remember I said I was going out for pizza with a friend and his friend?
So I got introduced to his friend, we went to Pizza Hut, yadda yadda yadda...
Ended up talking there for three hours, about various things.
Then, since the waitress was really starting to look at us funny and it was getting close to closing time, we headed on over to Wal-Mart. We spent about an hour in the electronics section talking about music and movies and computer games before we headed over to (where else?) the toys section.
Eventually we wound up on the children's book aisle, where I discovered an I Spy book. We sat down in the middle of the aisle and did the first three or so riddles before they announced it was getting close to closing time (midnight), so I bought the I Spy book and we went to find someplace with light where we could finish it.
We went over to Ken's Pancake House, which is one of those 24 hour joints, but it was really crowded so we just had rootbeer floats and left.
The dorms were really the only place with light any of us could think of; we went to the B-wing lounge but it was really nasty and smelled so we went to see if my roommate was home. She was, and was asleep, so we ended up in the kitchen and stay up until about a quarter after one finishing the I Spy, at which point we went outside where it was cooler to talk.
I didn't get to bed until a quarter 'til two, and I got hugs from both guys. 4laugh
Addendum: Wow.
I just talked with my roommate for like, two and a half hours.
All because of I Spy. xd
She saw the I Spy book I'd gotten last night and wanted to look at it, so I did it with her because she didn't know what a lot of the words were (like a thumbtack or a pulley--English is her second language) and I had to explain them to her without pointing them out. And then when we finshed that, we talked about a lot of stuff--friends (or my lack thereof), our homes, about pets, about learning foreign languages and such.
'Twas cool. And then she said she wanted to be my roommate again next year. 4laugh
