Hi every one. I can't wait untill Final Fantasy 7 comes out. I am so happy. So thats why i am giving every one information on the movie ok. I also put in some spoils. Ok so don't be mad. Synopsis
Continuing the storyline based on the hit Playstation game Final Fantasy VII, two years have passed since the ruins of Midgar stand as a testament to the sacrifices made in order to bring peace. *Cloud Strife

Cloud makes a return as the main character in the movie. He chooses to live a life of solitude, wondering if he can be forgiven for past mistakes. Although his friends are still there to support him, he appears to cut himself off from them. Cloud has a motorcycle called Fenrir which is also used to hold his swords.
*Tifa Lockheart

Role in Movie: Main Character
Tifa's wardrobe has been updated with her outfit somewhat resembling Rinoa from FFVIII. She now looks after Marlene and other orphans while working at Seventh Heaven. Her most notable battle in Advent Children is against Loz which showcases her fighting skills.
*Sephiroth
Role in FFVII: Main Character [Non-playable, enemy]
Role in Movie: Enemy
Much speculation about Sephiroth's return in Advent Children has previously been made. With sseveral references made about him throughout the movie, he returns to battle Cloud by using Kadaj's body as a host through the use of Jenova.

Role in Movie: Main character [Enemy]
One of the three Silver Haired Men [SHM]. He is in opposition to Cloud and is the leader of the group. It has been noted that he bares a striking resemblance to Sephiroth. He uses a weapon called the "Souba" which has been confirmed as being a refined double sword and has exceptional sword skills. He is also the youngest of the three brothers.
*Loz
Role in FFVII: Not in game
Role in movie: Enemy
One of the three SHM, although the oldest of the group, he is emotional and is a crybaby. He possesses very fast speed and reflexes, which allows him to perform extremely fast attacks. He uses a weapon called "Dual Hound" which is both a shield and a gun.
*Yazoo
Role in FFVII: Not in game
Role in movie: Enemy
The third of the SHM. Yazoo is often aloof and distant. His weapon appears to be a kind of gunblade, and is called "Velvet Nightmare". While not possessing the speed of his brothers, Yazoo is able to effectively attack from both a distance and in close combat situations.
*Marlene
Role in FFVII: Daughter of Dyne, Adopted by Barret
Role in Movie: Main Character
She is living with Tifa and appears to be unaffected by Geostigma, unlike many of the other children. Marlene tends to cling to many of the adults she comes across, including Vincent and Loz. Although only a child, she is sensible.
*Denzel
Role in FFVII: Not in Game
Role in Movie: Main Character
Denzel is an orphan who has been affected by Geostigma. He lives with Tifa and Marlene. He is gathered up with the other children by the SHM and taken to the Forgotten Capital.
*Vincent Valentine
Role in FFVII: Playable Character [hidden]
Role in Movie: Returning party member
Vincent has been living in solitary, studying the world and knows something of the current events that are taking place. He makes more of an appearance than the other party members in the movie, possibly intended to introduce him further before Dirge of Cerberus.
*Wheelchair Person
Role in FFVII: Rufus ShinRa
Role in Movie: President ShinRa
The most mysterious character in Advent Children, since the beginning there has been much speculation as to who this person is. Suffering heavily from Geostigma, they are confined to a wheelchair and wear a cloak. Now reformed, President ShinRa wants to put right the wrongs of his company.
*Reno
Role in FFVII: Non-Playable Character [enemy]
Role in Movie: Turks
Reno takes on much of a comic relief role in Advent Children. Always seen with his Turks counterpart, Rude, the pair engage in battles mainly with Yazoo and Loz.
*Rude
Role in FFVII: Non-Playable Character [enemy]
Role in Movie: Turks
The more serious of the two Turks, Rude is cool, calm and collected. Like Reno, Rude's main role in the movie is seen when battling with Yazoo and Loz.
*Barret Wallace

Role in Movie: Returning party member
Leaving Marlene in Tifa's care, Barret is searching for a new energy to replace Mako. His gun arm is able to transform between a fist and heavy artillery. He makes an appearance to battle Bahamut Sin with the other party members.
*Cid

Role in Movie: Returning Party Member
Cid is the captain of a brand new airship called the Sierra. His outfit has changed to a simple t-shirt and jacket around the waist. He fights Bahamut with the other party members, with his trademark spear.
*Red XIII/Cait Sith

Role in Movie: Returning Party Members
Early images of Red XIII did not show Cait Sith at all, but in the movie Cait Sith can be seen perched on Red's neck. Cait Sith's role really is limited to no more than talking, with Redi XIII taking on the battle role.
*Yuffie
Role in FFVII: Playable Character [hidden]
Role in Movie: Returning Party Member
Dropping out of the sky on a parachute, the playful ninja still is obsessed with materia. Sporting a large shuriken, Yuffie is the last of the party members to make an appearance for the Bahamut Sin battle.
*Aerith

Role in Movie: Dream Sequence
Although she does not have an active role in the movie, Aerith is included in several dream sequences with Cloud, indicating that she is able to contact him in this way. At the end of the movie her appearance can be seen visiting the church and talking to the children.
*Zack

Role in Movie: Flashback
Zack is mainly included as a flashback. However, he can also be seen at the end of the movie standing with Aerith, and leaves the church with her.
Creatures
*Shadow Creeper
Role in FFVII: Unlikely
Role in Movie: Cause havoc in Midgar
These creatures make two appearances in the movie. At the beginning they are chasing Cloud outside Midgar. And later on they are summoned in Edge to disrupt the crowd gathered around the meteor monument. They appear to be some kind of summon as they can be summoned by the SHM.
*Bahamut SIN
Role in FFVII: This form of Bahamut not in game
Role in Movie: Summon
Bahamut is summoned by Kadaj and attacks innocent citizens of the city. However the real intent is for him to dislodge the Meteor Monument. The old gang from FFVII [Barret, Cid, Yuffie and Red XIII] appear on the scene to battle this monster.
