I was reminiscing about songs, or music in general just recently... and realized something amazing. The song, Starry Heavens, by Day After Tomorrow was the intro to the Japanese Tales of Symphonia, and it also started what would become a powerful part of my life.
Japanese Music.
So many memories lie within music, and when I listen it brings back summer, or winter, spring or fall... a lot of times, me with friends, and many more memories that are repressed until the upsurge of nostalgia brought on by music. Specifically, many memories are woven in Japanese music. And none more so, than Starry Heavens.
I find it amazing that that one song launched me towards something that would, unknowingly, change my life and help preserve it as well. Though I can not understand a word of it, I love Japanese music. It is beautiful and catchy and captures feelings and warmths within it that are simply beautiful!
