See, Understand, Believe Me

You see me; but yet you don’t,
You understand; but yet you get confused,
You believe in me; but yet you doubt in me.
What you think you see is a lie,
What you think you understand but you don’t,
What you think you believe is the total opposite.
What you see, understand, believe in me is an illusion:
You are seeing an illusion of what I look like,
You are understanding an illusion that is a lie,
You are believing is an illusion of your doubts in me.
Who you think you see is not the real me,
Who you think you understand, you are instead confused,
Who you think you believe; but yet you trust me not.
