A few things...
First, all dragon riders receive one special power from their link to a magical being. The most common are elemental, such as fire, water, air, or earth manipulation. Some even receive a power over the weather or electricity, but those are rare. Even more rare are the odd abilities, such as teleportation, invisibility, shields, or shadow manipulation.
Second, you can either have met your tutor on the road, or run into them in the city before their meeting. Either way, I'd like to have all of the eggs hatched before their meeting outside the city limits.
Third, once a rider is bonded to a dragon, they stop aging. Or rather, they age extremely slowly, as do dragons.
Third, as I said in the rules, I'd like to keep things even. Five girl riders, five boy riders. If I get even numbers and no one else wants to join, I'll take away the other spots and the rp will be labeled as full.
Fourth, I give you a template for a reason. Please follow it ^_^ You may tweak it slightly, but I'm pretty sure I gave you a space for all the info. If you do tweak it, tell me of the changes at the very top of the pm please, just so that I know ahead of time.
Fifth, real pictures only please. As much as I like using anime characters, it's hard to imagine them as characters in an rp that's supposed to feel like the real world, only better.
Lastly, please fill this template out completely before you send it to me, and also, delete the brackets before you put in the information. Such as [Last, First Middle Name] becomes Bond, James Anthony.

Most people say I'm She's quiet, controlled, doesn't speak much unless she feels she has to. Anastasia has only ever freaked out once, and she vowed never to do it again. She doesn't like people much, they're to loud and think to highly of themselves. She's very quick witted and smart, but people don't know it because she ignores them. On the outside she seems cold and shuts herself away from people. But behind her eyes is a pain and sadness that she only shows to her dragon.

I named him Carrick.
He hatched for me on 3/25,
And has been with me for 12 years.
He looks like Carrick
I received the power Of controlling shadows from him, which allows me to basically, control shadows. She can use other peoples shadows against them, making it unable for them to move. Or she can 'melt' into the shadows, making her practically invisible..
