Reason or meaning of name: Her parents had to give her a name, any name would suffice, so they chose Anastasia.

Reason for nickname: It's short for Anastasia

Appearance: Anastasia
Distinguishing marks: A scare that travels from her right temple, down to her right collar bone, over her shoulder and then across her shoulder blades, ending in a small star burst over her left shoulder blade.
Personality: She's very smart, in a quiet, 'I won't take your BS,' kinda way. She never talks unless she feels it's completely necessary. She doesn't get along with people. At all. She is witty, and sarcastic, but only shows it when she is angry, or feels like talking. She is known as having no emotions, but hiding behind her eyes, is a sad, quiet grief that she only shows to Ladon.

Bio: Anastasia lived a somewhat normal life for the first half of her life, well, normal for her. She was born into a family of warriors. As soon as she could walk, she was trained in all the different styles of fighting. She loved fighting, it was her life, without her weapons, without disputes that had to solved physically, she didn't know what she would do. When she turned ten, her family found out she had could use magic. And they weren't very happy about it. In her family, everything was about physical and mental strength, her family didn't believe in using magic. She was practically shunned. It tore her apart, and she got angry and started accusing them. She accidentally used magic and killed her mother. Stunned, she did nothing as her family attacked her, beating her senseless, her own father was about to deliver the final blow. As Anastasia lay bleeding at her fathers feet, knowing she was about to die, a sudden tremor shook the earth. Suddenly the roof of her home was ripped off and a giant dragons head loomed over the house, her father yelled, throwing his dagger, slicing down the dragons eye and ending at his jaw, where it stuck. Bellowing in anger, the dragon swooped down with his clawed hand, picking Anastasia up and flying off. Turned out the dragon could feel Ana's pain, her despair and he had to stop it. Ladon healed Anastasia, keeping her safe and away from humans. When she was well, she grieved for days, knowing she should have died. And now she lives alone with Ladon, still grieving when they are alone.
Weapons: A six foot long bow, and a pair of twin hand and a half swords.
Fears: The unknown
Greatest vulnerability or weakness: She and her dragon are connected, so when he has strong emotions, she feels them too. Or if he's in pain, she will also feel the pain.
Biggest regret: Getting the ability to use magic.
