Just started some new medicine and am all screwed up from my body trying to get used to it.. I constantly fell like I'm going to throw up, I'm starving but can barely keep anything down, I gag at just about everything (taking my meds, swallowing food, the slightest bad smell, even the thought of something gross!), and I'm dead tired all the time... Also (not due to the medicine) I'm freezing my butt off (too bad it doesn't really work that way, ne?) and the only extra blanket I can find smells like wet dog stressed
Last night I was working on a drawing, then went to check my email, set the sketch book right next to me on the arm of the chair.. When I went back to work on it some more (no more than five minutes later) there was a gross little, slimy blob right in the middle of it.. It left a rather nasty brown smudge on the picture... The poor picture has been nearly destroyed multiple times- my 2 year old nephew decided to 'help' with a blue pencil (never was able to get it all off, but what little bit that's left can be hidden by the dark background.. and I was going to add some color to it as well, make it look like an old, faded drawing), someone set a glass on it (thank God I caught it before it left a wet ring), someone left a cookie sitting on it so now there's little greasy spots (they too can be hidden by the background), then there's the blob.. Maybe I can darken that leaf and hide it... stare
On a happier note, my daddy, brother and his wife took the baby to see monster trucks last night.. They said he would only cheer for Grave Digger, all the others he'd only smile at. xd :
Not sure what all they got, but he got up this morning and ran into the living room with a death grip on a big Grave Digger plushy.. it's about 1/3 as big as him xd :
you should have seen it, he ran in here with a huge smile and held it out for Izumi and I to see, going "vroom vroom!"
And now he's trying to ride it 4laugh
I love that little turkey. He's just about the only thing that can make me smile when I'm depressed or pissed off heart I can't wait to see the video they took of him last night!
