Elrica, Lonely Dancer
Morning sun, stretched across the path to the library at Nieves main base, the day was just beginning and yet it felt otherwise. Elrica Monarch couldn’t help but feel tired, all the energy that could have been, didn’t come. Last nights nightmare fluttered amongst her thoughts as she sipped her morning juice, it was her favourite apple juice; usually the sweet taste of the juice on her tongue would bring an assortment of joy and revitalization, but due to the dilemma of sleep it wasn’t going to happen anytime soon. The halls to the southern tower, this is where Elrica had went this morning, uncertain of where else to go.
Four years ago strange things had happened, events which Elrica avoided remembering. Last night nightmare had been brought into existence from those memories. You see, Elrica has a twin sister, only a few moments younger then herself. Seemingly, due to revelations, her twin sister was thrown into the hospital four years ago; they had told the child that she was “ill” with a heart disease of some sort, but in all honesty, her sisters believed illness had a lot to do with the powers that the twins held. Her sister, Edeline, usually misspelled as Adeline had the element of air at her command, her Father had discovered this, and decided to do experiments on the younger twin, because the child had some potential or whatever. Along with her sisters “illness” Elrica was to take a job at Nieves, she had done it on her own free will, at least it seemed to be so, not even she knew why or how she'd joined Nieves, all she knew was that Nieves was happy to take her and her element of fire. At times, she pondered why she’d join, was it out of fear? Elrica had known of her power, her sister had to but...drugs could do so many things.
Elrica looked around, not many seemed to be in the library at the time, the place was open to the public, so she wouldn’t get into much here. As long as she kept safe, all would be alright. Hopefully, at least. Though, Elrica didn’t feel like reading at the time. Her brown ponytail, held by a white ribbon shifted off onto her back; today Elrica wore a red dress, long sleeves that widened at the end, with ribbons on the hem, sleeves and a ribbon collar around her neck a bell was attached it. The back of her top was open for the most part. On her feet were ballet slippers in black, bells also attached to it via a scarlet ribbon. A small purse was wrapped around Elrica’s waist; it held her weapons and other items that may be useful. For extra warmth, she had a white jacket on, similar to her dress but only going down to her thighs.
“I really hate myself, what to do?” Elrica felt her feet guiding themselves; she was beginning to wander around the building. Her gaze was down “Elrica, my dear. You really should think more of yourself.” Said Harmony, the guardian she’d managed to obtain. Harmony was usually kind, and soft. Always willing to give advice, being like a Mom to Elrica in many ways. Elrica gave sighed from the comment “How can I be? I feel horrible. The more I think about, the more I feel as if I may just be selling out my sister.” She told Harmony, the guardian remained silent for several moments. Gently Harmony spoke again “I know I can not talk you into the fact you’re not, I think I shall sleep.” Her Guardian said. Elrica smiled ”Fine, have a nice rest.” Her tone was positive, and she kept wandering. Maybe she’d find someone to talk to?
Walking along the paths, Elrica found herself coming across someone interesting, Zero. She recognized, him. She thought of saying hi, in truth she’d developed an interest in him. Quietly she watched him, as she pretended to fiddle in her bag “Good Morning, Lord Zero. How are you? Isn't it a dreary morning?” She said, politely to him. Gently Elrica looked up at Zero, she smiled at him gently, although if you thought about it, it was a smile of a girl who suffered, so it was sort of sad. Blue eyes were soft, the eyes were something both Elrica and her sister shared.
