Bloody Love Chapter Two
I don't know how much time passed before I was awoken from a scream.It came from down stairs.I got off my bed and ran down stairs.I saw Josh holding his hand which was covered in blood and the group in front of him.I also saw Jake in front of the door.I rubbed my eyes."Whats going on, Josh what happened to your hand?" They all looked at me.Josh shook his head, "Nothing I fell.Your cousin gave me a scare when he came in.Sorry i woke you up.Well we should be going now it's getting pretty late see you later ch- Ashley" The group packed up and waved goodbye.I did the same."Hope you hand gets better"I said."As do I" said Jake.Josh and Jake made eye contact for a moment."I'll try" Josh said then left.
I looked at Jake."What was that all about?" Jake froze.He shook his head.I sighed then went back to my room.I dropped myself on my bed and closed my eyes.I opened them again when my cell phone rang.Who would be calling me?Surely not Mom nor dad.I looked at the phone number, 'unknown'.I prssed the talk button.
"Hello Ashley?"the voice said."yes" i replied.
"Ay, it's Alex"I let a sigh of relief."Oh what did ya want?" He froze for a moment I heard his slow breathing."Well I wanted to know what you were doing tomorrow?" I stared at the phone."Nothing" i answered."Well wanna go to a movie or something?" he asked.I smiled and answered, "Sure meet you at 3" He agreed."Wait how did you get my number?" He hesitated, "Oh uh I asked around and stuff so yeah umm bye" I said bye then hung up.
The next day was Saturday.I awoke at 7 a.m.I would have awoken much later but I heard a scream.It was from outside, I look out my window.People are coming out from their houses again.Another attack?I run downstairs cousin Jake aint here,must be outside already.I put on some random clothes and run outside a bunch of people are already there.I try to push in front of them when a couple hands grab me.
I turn around and see the group.They all have worried faces.Josh sighs,"Ashley you don't wanna see what's there ok?" I simply nodded.I hear Jake speaking."See what did I tell you?This man's body is all ripped apart it must have been a wolf!" I heard people agree.Ripped up?That's what they ddin't want me to see body parts all over the place.I shook my head.This was bad what was with these wolves?I looked at Alex he was staring into space.He caught my eyes and frowned."Ashley,these aren't the wolves doing, I know wolves they don't attack humans unless they are bothering their territory." I cocked my head."Are we in their territory?" i asked.The group hesitated before Josh answered."Uhhh no.All we know is that wolves aren't doing this something far worse is.A bloodsucker that is trying to cover up by ripping the human for an excuse that it is the wolves.This isn't the wolves it's the doing of a vampire"
I froze.Vampire?He msut be insane.I raised an eyebrow.The group all stared at me.I looked away and thought for a moment.What Alex told me yesterday he was about to say 'but they are' could i believe them.Really vampires, what's next the tooth fairy?I looked up at them they were still waiting for my reaction.I shook my head and said "Um, I'll see you guys later ok?Alex um maybe we shouldn't uh go to the movies today I feel kinda sick" Alex sighed and nodded."So see you on Monday chika?" Josh asked.I thought for a moment."Uh I don't think so.." Josh froze.He closed his eyes."Chika we aren't lying to you how do you think we felt when we heard vampires were real.Well not even hear we learned they were real the hard way.Please chika don't think of us as insane this is the doings of a vampire who is breaking the treaty." Josh hesitated.I could tell he had said to much.He looked at the others and apologized.
"Treaty?" I asked.Alex looked at me."We will tell you the treaty if you believe what we just said before."I nodded.He looked at Nick then.Nick nodded."Well" Nick began I realized I never heard Nick speak.He continued, "About ten million years ago when vampires were born they were blood sucking monsters.Since then they have evolved and somewhere in the 1500's they decided that they should leave humans alone.So they made a a solem salute to well everything in the after lfie and world that they would stick to animals.Vampires left humans alone for a little while but then one vampire made a mistake while searching for bears in a hunger frenzy he accidently bit a human.He didn't suck the humans blood but he did leave him to die.Somehow the vampire elite's found out and he was sentenced to death.As for the human he bit he did not die.He survived but at the cost of his life.He became a vampire.The human who became bitten was named Jake"
I froze.All the blood in my body turned cold.My head almost fell off too.It all made sence that was the sad part.Living in the darkness, no bed, and all the blood in his bathroom.Cousin Jake was the vampire that had been bitten.He was the one killing these humans.Yet I didn't hate him the least bit.I felt sorry for him.I heard a growl behind me.I turned around Jake was there.He was looking at me."Ashley, we should go home I'm feeling hungry aren't you?" I almost smacked myself of what hew as saying.He was hungry?I shook my head quickly."Um, No thanks Jake i ain't one bit hungry go eat without me" He cocked his head."Dang, that aint fun without my little cousin.You sure?" I nodded.He sighed and lokoed behind me.He shook his head then ooked back at me.
"Well ok I'll make sure to leave you something.If I don't eat it all.You know if you want your friewnds can come in and paly or would you prefer to paly out here?" I nodded."Um outside inside what's the difference?".Duh I'll stay alive outside and die inside.He looked like he was strucken with pain.He cracked his head and said "Well I guess.Don't go getting trouble ok?" I nodded.He turned around to go but I took his arm."Jake do you believe in vampires?" He hesitated then looked at Alex.He began growling."Very much so.I'm guessing Alex had already told you huh?Well Ashley I thought you'd be mroe evolved then that even as a human.Ashley your my cousin human or not I ain't gonna kill ya" I let go of him.he jsut admited he was a vampire right?
I nodded and walked back to the house.I heard his grunt and follow behind me.Alex ran behind me.He singled the rest of the group to stay behind.They did.I heard Jake groan again.When I entered the house I ran to the living room.Alex right behind me.I sat down on the couch as did Alex.Jake enetered next but sat across from me.He looked directly at Alex and began growling again."Why Alex, why'd you tell her?Ashley I'm not a bloodsucking monster.If you wanted one you should look at your friends" I chocked for a minute."What?My friends aren't vam- " I looked at Alex who was looking down."Are you?.." alex nodded.This was crazy!
I got off the couch and ran to the back of the house.I meant to go to the backyard.When I opened the back door I saw Josh and the others.They were all staring at me.Them too.I looked behind me jake and Alex were walking with their hands out."Ashley just stay still we want you as one of us.It will only hurt a little.It's fun being undead" alex said smiling.He was insane.Everyone in the group was closing in on me.I grabbed my cellphone and called my mom and dad.Before they picked up I began running away.When they picked up I ws still running."Hello?" It was my mom."Mom!Please take me back to new York I have to go.Puertorico is just to much for me.I'll be home schooled if I have to!Just dont leave me with Jake!" I hung up before she could answer.I looked up and saw the group and Jake again.Alex laughed and said "Ashley vampires are the fastest beings on the planet you cant run away!" I smiled and replied "Im leaving Puertorico Jake and i'm never comnig back.My mom is already coming she'll be here in less then a day.If I were you I would jsut go."
Jake's face pinched up."Ash c'mon don't do this!" I shook my head and began running again.I ran to the house and up to my room.I locked my door and closed my window.I heard them banging on my door.They could easily break it but they knew that would scare me more.I looked out my window Josh and Alex were climbing the walls and banging on the window.I began screaming.The banging stopped.Alex froze and looked at me.He began tearing.He tapped Josh on the shoulder and told him something.Josh looked at me then nodded.He screamed something to the others and they left my door.I looked back out my window,the group including Jake were all walking away.
The next day my mom arrived.I was already packed.When I got outside I saw Jake talking to my mom.Alex and the gropu were there too.None of them looked my way.I walked straight to my mom's car.Jake and I exchanged a few stares then he hugged me.I didn't find the guts to hug back.I manged to pat him on the back.When I went to open the door an arm grabbed me and turned me around.Before I realized what was going on Alex was kissing me.I froze.When he stopped he hugged me then walked away.I blinked a couple times before I heard my mom giggle.I looked up and the group waved me good bye.I nodded and entered the car.
When my mom started the car again I felt something in my hand.A piece of paper?I opened it, a letter from Alex.
Dear Ashley,
Im sorry for trying to make you into what you didn't wanna become.Of course I'm not going to give up.I'll find you again one day.I will make you one of us.So jsut in case you do change your mind I put something in your bag.It's green liquid.A.K.A vampire venom.Drink it and your one of us.Please change your mind.I love you.Just so you know.iv'e been around for over ten thousand years and your the first human to catch my eye.O yeah i forgot to mention I'm ten thousand and thirteen.Cool huh?Well anyway I wish we had more time with eachother.Please change your mind my love.I'll be waiting.If by next year you don't change your mind I'm coming for you.

I couldn't believe it.A vampire in love with a human?Impossible.It's just it wasen't impossible.I loved him too and I knew it.I looked inside my bag and found the green venom.It smelled horrible.I stared at it for a moment.Not now.I put it back and fell asleep on the way back to New York.
A year passed since my encounter with the vampires.I pretty much forgot about them.I hid the vampire venom and cleared my mind of the memories.Now I was thirteen and I had forgotten almost completely of them.I moved on.My mom and dad won the lottery somehow and I was back in school.Iv'e become happy again.Something else also occured last month, my mother found my long lost cousin.I didn't even know I had any cousins.His name is John.He's about my age,black hair,and blue eyes.He's pretty cute, too bad he's my cousin.
He's living with my family for the being.My mom doesn't want to push him to far, he is only 13.Wev'e become pretty close,I tell him everything.Almsot everything.I haven't told him about my vacation last year yet, I don't plan to really.Anyway John is coming over soon Wer'e gonna hang out some.
The door bell jsut rang.Must be John.
When I answer the door I see four boys.One with long silver hair,one with long purple hair, third with short blonde hair, and the last with black and greyish hair.They all smile, I c**k my head.I look at the silver haired one and my mouth drops."A-Alex?"i manage to whisper.He nods.I start backing away and it all hits me again."You were serious in the letter?" he nodded once more.I shook my head."Go away!" i scream.I began running out the door when i bump into someone.I fall back and so does he.I look up and see John rubbing his head."gee Ash whatch whe-" he stopped.He looked up at the group.His mouth opens."V-Vampires?" he screams.He then got up, took my hand and began running out the door.
How does he know that they are vampires.I ask him but he doesn't answer.I look back the group was right on our trail.I stop and pull my hand back from John.John looks back at me in horror.I shake my head."We can't run away from them you know" He sighs and nods.The group stops right behind us.I turn to them.Alex is still smiling.Josh steps up."Ay chika long time no see how's it going?" I glare at him.He steps back a moment then frowns."I'm fine....." i say.John looks at me then the group."Ash you know Alex?" Everyone freezes.I look at john in shock."y-yes do you?" he nods.He frowns and says "h-hes the one that made me into a...." his voice trialed off.I cocked my head.Alex was staring at John before jumping up."J-john?' john nodded.Alex growled at him.
Alex shook his head.Alex began walknig to me.I stood still.He kissed me on the cheek.John growled too.Alex smiled."Ay, calm down John i ain't gonna bite her...well actually.." Alex sniffed me.He licked his lips and began putting his mouth slowly down my neck.He smield even more before brining up his head."You know I could eat you at any second right?" i nodded.He frowned."Yet you don't run away?You humans scare me sometimes." I rolled my eyes.He sniffed me again and sighed."So tasty I bet." he licked his lips again and I took a step back.He fronwed again.I took more steps back.John walked to my side."Hey Ash,Why didn't you tell me you met them last year?" I froze.I looked at him."how did y-" "Mind reading" he answered.
He stood still for a moment then his mouth dropped open.He glared at Alex and the others and shook his head.I even stepped away from john.At last I began running again.I don't know where I was going all i knew was that I was going somewhere.I looked back they were neatly walking.I sighed but kept running.
Finally, i reached the park.I looked around no one here.I ran to the swings and sat down on one.The others did the same.I looked down for a second."John, are you one of them too?" John shook his head."No, I'm a werewolf" I sighed then smiled."A puppy fake cousin huh...cool...and vampire friends?Whats next.." Alex laughed.Then began swinging.He went back and forth.He went slowly at first then jumped on his feet to another swing.He kept doing this till he was next to mine.I cocked my head.He looked at me closely.Then he got up and got me off my swing too.He pushed me too the slide and placed me on his lap.He swang down then began sniffing me again.He sighed and said."Let's try more wind." He picked me up and ran to the swings again he put me on the one next to Josh and began pushing me.He swang me so high I screamed.The others laughed.
Alex stood serious.The group began smelling the air.Nick covered his nose and so did Mike.Josh closed his eyes and walked away.Alex's eyes began straining.He kept swining me until he took me off and put his mouth on my neck.He hesitated.He opened his mouth but quickly closed it.He began shivering.He put me down and walked over to Josh.He breathed in and out before looking at me again.
Mike stopped covering his nose and so did Nick.I didn't even realize it but John was on the other side of the park.He began breathing in harder.Then I heard him start choking.Or more like coughing.The group started looking at him.Alex ran to him and began putting John's hand behind him.Josh took his legs.Then the worst thing so far to happen happened.John went in a rampage bearing his teeth which were sharp and pointy at me.His eyes went all red.He began growing claws and all.I backed away and began crying.John managed to get out of Alex's grip, and started heading torward me.I closed my eyes tightly.
I was still crying.When john Came next to me his breathing went slow and he took a deep breath.His eyes went back to normal and his claws went back in.He went on his knee's next to me and hugged me."I-i'm sorry" i nodded.Then he got up and sighed.He walked around for awhile before the others came to join.Alex sat next to me.After what seemed to be forever of silence they all sighed at once.I wiped my remaining tears and looked up.They were all staring at me.I blushed and looked down again.Alex put his arm around my waist.He was freezing.I jumped up He loosend his grip.Then tightend it again.He cracked his head then put me on his lap.He began smelling my hair.
He breathed nice and slowly.THen he stopped and kissed me on the back of my head.I flinched.He hugged me and didn't let go.I felt crushed.Then he put me down and asked "Well, Ashley wev'e decided something..." I looked at him.He looked back."Imma leave you human for now.If anything then I'l force my venom inside of you" i flinched at the thought.I put my hand on my neck.He laughed and hugged me again.I sighed and said "What now?" He looked at me, then smiled."Anything you wanna know bout vamps?" I thought for a second."Well can you show me what a vampire can do?" he smiled from one cheek to another.
He got up and nodded.We all got up and followed Alex to a monkey bar.He put his arms on them and began walking around."Well anyone can do th-" I began to say but then he went on top of the monkey bars and walked on his hands upside down."Oh" i said.He laughed then went back on his feet and jumped high.He jumped about 500 feet off the ground.My head almost fell off trying to follow where he was going.he ended up on the top of the swing bar.Then he jumped to a see-saw.
He began jumping on both sides of it.First slowly then extremely fast.I couldn't keep up where he was.When he landed he ran to the merry-go-round.He looked at it for a second then nodded.He took a handle bar then pushed it with one finger.The thing spun so fast a bunch of screws popped out.I opened my mouth amazed.Alex saw and smiled.Then he took me and went inside the merry go round.It went so fast I ended up closing my eyes.About ten minutes later it finally stopped.I got off Alex and ran to a garbage can and threw up.Alex laughed so hard.I glared at him.I shook my head and sat down.My stomach hurt.Alex came next to me and picked me up.Finally we went home.
When I came inside my house, no one was home.I let everyone inside.I went to my room and started looking around in my closet.Until I found a letter.It was the letter from Alex from last year.When everyone went into my room Alex saw me reading the letter over and smiled.I searched threw my closet again before hearing a piece of glass.I took it.It was the vile of vampire venom.Everyone stared at it for a minute.Alex kept looking at the vile then me.I stared at it too, before putting down on my bed.I looked at the time.My parents would be home from thier job's soon.I had to get ready for them.I looked at the group and John."Can you guys maybe get out for a mniute I gotta change my parent's will be home soon" They nodded and went out the room.Alex hesitated then smiled and asked, "You sure I can't stay and watch" I threw a pillow at him and evryone began laughing even me.He went out and I locked the door.Though vampires they were still boys.
When I changed they came back in.I laid down on my bed and sighed.Alex went behind me and put his arm around me.He began sniffing me again.I stood frozen.He began putting his fingers threw my hair.Then his mouth gently down my neck.Then he licked his lips and openeed his mouth.He put his teeth lightly on my neck.I was still not moving.He gently began pinching down.He licked his lips one more time before completely pinching down.He was biting me.The group all gasped.John began screaming in horror.They tried to get up but Alex grolwed at them.He was the head vampire.One wrong move and Josh and the others would be down fast.He went back to biting me.I felt him suck my blood.I began breathing slow.I felt dizzy.Until finally he let go and licked his lips.I moved my eyes to him and he was still licking his lips of the blood rushing down his mouth.My blood.
