Lyra was the lost heir of the angel kingdom. She had been kidnapped when she was a child and sold into slavery. She had grown up, trained to be a servant and slave...except that the slave trader that bought her was not able to sell her. Every time she was sold off to someone, the buyer would come back in a week or so to return her and ask for a refund. Lyra had a rebellious nature and even if she was punished for it, the owners didn't have patience with her and ended up returning her because they were not able to control her. Pax, the slave trader, gave up on selling her and just kept her as one of his personal servants. She mainly worked in the kitchen. Pax didn't really know of she was a princess or not. He bought her from another slave trader because she had caught his attention. She was just a child and he had been told by the other trader that she was a princess...but Pax didn't buy because of that reason. He bought her because he could see she was a strong girl. He could see her strength in those pale silver eyes of her. Yes, her eyes were unusual and so was her hair, a dark gray silver. Lyra was beautiful in an unique way and he thought she would be worth a fortune when she grew up. Wrong! he had not been able to sell her...but it was a great surprise when the son of the demon king came to him and asked him about her. Pax told him where he had bought her from and the possibility that she was of royal blood, he told him about her skills and strengths. He warned the prince that she was a rebel and tried to convince him to choose another servant girl instead. The demon prince smiled, pleased to hear about her rebelliousness and offered him a great sum of money. Pax couldn't refuse such an offer and gave him Lyra. The demon prince asked to see Lyra privately before he took her away.
Lyra stood there glaring at the demon prince, thinking she would do the same things she had done to the other buyers. She would never submit to anyone. The demon prince observed her and seemed to be able to read her thoughts for her said "My lady...I didn't buy you to become my servant. I bought you so you would be my bride"...
Lyra looked at him with a shocked expression and with some fear. She didnt want to go with him and let alone be touched by him. She couldn't bear the thought of being married to someone against her will. She tried to run out of the room but the prince's guards took her by the arms and dragged the struggling young woman out of the room. She was struggling so much, she was sedated, and soon she fell asleep in the carriage. The prince sat across from her and just gazed at her as they headed to his castle.
