Spring cleaning, just for the spring? . . .

Today, my room creeped up on me showing what a horrible mess it is. The cluttered colossus refused to be silenced till it was clean. So, I set to work. Now, cleaning is not my hobby, it and I have never truly gotten along, though, like with siblings, we get along better with no audience. The washing machine has tired away, working for long hours doing my five loads of wash (count 'em, five), the dryer has had less work, but the shower bar is still carrying the heavy burden of some of my clothes. I found it refreshing, the room isn't clean, yet two trashbags have been filled. I am a pack rat, my desk still holds all my certificates from 5th grade, so going through my clothes was an experience. Now a whole backet of clothes are ready to go off to charity! Not to mention the few that just went into the trash. Usually, when my room is cleaned, I go through everything with sentimentality, (ooh! It's a giant boulder my friend gave me! I can't get rid of that!) today I asked my self one question, 'do I use it?' A huge percentage of the time my answer was no. This was such a pleasent experience for me, I suggest you do it to. __________ I wanted to share it with someone, but it seems really dorky to call my friends "Have you cleaned your room today?" XD If you read all that, did you notice how much personification I used? XD English Freak
