I have a field trip on Monday. WOOHOO! Only problem with that...My concert is also on Monday, which means I'll be missing the Monday rehearsal. Grrr. Just my luck, eh? I still have to talk to Travis and ask him if he'll drive me home. He probably will. He's cool like that. It should be an awesome field trip, though. We're going to the Aquarium and Planetarium in Chicago and we'll be gone all day. I don't have to bring money for lunch because I sold candy to help pay for the trip. About $60 worth. Woohoo for selling stuff. Now I don't have to bring lunch for money at all.
The concert is that night...And I have to be there about two hours after getting back from the field trip. Blah..I have enough time to take a shower and get dressed, though. That's a good thing. smile Hopefully I'll get over what I'm catching or whatever before the concert. It's not hard for me to sing...But I don't know. I'm just hoping I'll get better. I'm in a quartet, as I've already stated, and I want everything to go perfectly.
In other news, our manager fired us (My mother, sister, and I) from the vacuming job we did for her. Supposedly she didn't like the job we were doing and decided to give it to Suzanne. I wish her luck...She's in for a rude awakening. The job isn't as easy as it seems...and it's a wonder we even did it for what we got paid. But, oh well. It's her problem now.
Parent teacher conferences were tonight, but I didn't go. I would have, had my father have been home. Afterall, 5 extra credit points with Dow (U.S. History Teacher) would have come of it. But, oh well. I have a court case thing to do. If it has good enough information, it will get 15 extra credit points. We have to write a paper on one of nine court cases. How it related to the Civil Rights Movement and such. It's a good thing because papers are my best thing in the whole class. I always get A's on them. I used to do so bad on papers...But after Ms. Jablonski helped me in summer school, I finally get it. Yay for me!
Talked to Colby on the phone for about a half an hour...Maybe longer. It was nice. I haven't talked to him on the phone in like...Forever. So, yeah. It was good to hear his voice again. smile We're starting to talk just as we used to...It's making me happy. He's one of my bestest friends.
I guess there's not really much else to say right now...I'll keep you guys updated as things go on in my life. (Not like anything in my life is really very interesting. Haha.) Anyways, laterness and stuff.
