[/color“Damn. That must be some tough livin’.” Alex stood there and thought for a moment about the farms. It had been so long since he had seen one, he couldn’t remember the last time he had.
“Well, we might as well do something soon before the sun goes down,” Marina said suddenly, interrupting his thoughts.
He smiled. “But baby, when the sun goes down, it’s the best.” She could feel his hand as he traced her body. She knew what he was talking about. They had been together for quite some time now, probably as much as two years. She remembered it had basically been love at first sight when they first met, but Alex had had a girlfriend at the time. It was almost a month after he and Marina began to date that he had broke up with her. Her name was Sabrina and as far as Marina had been concerned she was nothing more than a little sex pot for Alex, though he had sworn to Marina he had done nothing with her. But now, she knew that she was the only one Alex had, for many of the other girls who had lived there in Fresno had all gone to the city camps to live with their parents and tend to the poor there. Marina had never had the desire to follow them to the cities, mostly because there were enough poor people there in Fresno to look after and both her parents were already dead.
