Chapter one
Meeting
I watched her walk down the hall. She wore bright blue jeans and a luminescent yellow tutu with a neon green tube top. I walked into math, sat in the middle like I always do. I felt a tap on my shoulder she was in the next desk. She passed a note to me: Hey I wrote under it Yo. She whispered "I'm Kate, what's your name?" I passed a note because the teacher was looking. Bria. She whispered "can we sit together at lunch?" "Sure" I said. After class all my friends came running. "Hey Bria!" Christopher called. "Bre!" Sergee called to me. Christopher and Sergee coilded just like the people on tv and Jarret came running and tripped over them both. I laughed and helped them all up. "Yes guys?" I put a sly grin on my face so they got even more anxious. "Hey Bria you know the new girl?" Christopher said looking me up and down for a moment. "Ya why ya need to know?" I said grinning wider. "Bre." Sergee said giving me the look. "Fine! Well she was like talking to me all class period. Her name is Kate. Thats all im saying." I said slyly making them think I knew more. "Because you dont know anymore." Sergee said. "Look guys it's lunch just dont ditch me and you'll get to meet her got it?" They all nodded and we headed to the cafeteria.
