I have a new computer. It's a Vista. You know, the new ones!! It's different, I'll give it that. It loads much smoother, I can tell as well. As far as going through menus and screens on your computer (not talking about the internet. I mean like going through your ACTUAL computer itself) it's not that much different from Windows XP. But what is different menu-wise in Vista isn't really different for the better. It can often be hard to tell exactly where you're going on the menus.
But it's a good system.
It looks and feels really futuristic. Mine already had a Bing search engine into it, so if you were to buy one even today then it should have one in it. I haven't really tried Bing yet, but I probably will just to see what the hype is about.
But unless you knew your way around Windows XP half-decent, then you probably wouldn't like Vista quite yet. It gets a little more professional then XP did. But it's still good...... At least for me (I knew XP like the back of my hand).
And you'll probably notice that PC's are starting to try to imitate Macs.
If you've ever used a Mac computer, then you'll know what I'm talking about (and to the people who are reading this who go to my school, the computers in the computer lab are Macs, just in case you didn't know). What I mean is that you get a toolbar at the top of your screen that HIGHLY resembles a Mac computer. And you get "Gadgets" for your computer desktop as well. Those too are very similar to Macs. They include things like stocks, weather, news headlines, etc. They even have the little square puzzles from Macs, which was nearly duplicated. You know, the thing with all the squares and you press them to move them so they make the shape.... Sorry, that's the best I can describe it... :XP
But really, for a serious computer user this is a good buy!
I'd reccomend it!
