Well, today I found out that, after I got home from a back-breaking day at school(No, really!), I had to spend three hours cleaning the house because we had guests coming over. When I fell over into my chair in exhaustion, the people started arriving, and there were, like, 8 little kids. They were between the ages of...oh, I'd say about four and seven. You know, that age when they've learned how to be annoying and want to flaunt it(and still don't know how to read). Since I'm the female child in the family, I had to get something for them to do, so I spent like half an hour trying to plug in the wii, and when I finished and told them to play and that I was going downstairs, they probably had nothing better to do than to come down repeatedly and tell me that something with the Wii was amiss and that I had to help them. This happened so many times that eventually I put on my personal headphones(which are the puffy kind that can get really loud)and turned the volume way up so you could actually hear the music coming out of them from like two feet away so they knew to back off. Not too great for my hearing, but wonderful for my sanity.
Of course, I was listening to songs with 'disruptive lyrics', as my mama put it, so she wouldn't let me listen anymore. So it was either return to the small cannibalistic chillenz, or going for a walk. I asked mama-dono if I could go out for a walk, and she got all panicky and told me that if I did, I should talk to someone on the phone so I wouldn't get kidnapped. So I called Selkie, and, naturally, she was practicing her musical instrument. She called me back a few minutes later, and I explained my paranoid mother, and we talked about the proper way to defend yourself against a person with fruit, and then she had to go. So then I called Micah. He was busy, because he is always busy. See, this is a problem for me. I'm practically afraid of the phone, like it's rabid or something, and when I do call people, they're always in the middle of something. It's terrible. (Note that I am laughing in reality as I type this.)
Anyway, since I had no one to talk to, I had to go back home, because I just know that mama-dono would know and rip my head off for not being careful. Not like where I live is really that hostile or stalker-filled. The most interesting thing that ever happened here is when some 11 year old girl thought the road was clear and ran through a 'don't walk' sign and got hit by a car. Seriously.
I feel incredibly depressed today, and I don't know why.
This is terrible.
