Moon Heart Tree part six
Nathaniel opened his eyes from a deep slumber. He saw the pink blossoms falling slowly onto the forest floor. As his eyes wandered, he saw a wolf and started to move around. He suddenly relized that his arm was bleeding, as he moved onto his two feet. He saw the wolf walking towards. In a panick he looked around for something to defend himself with and saw the dagger lying on the ground. He grabbed it up into his hands and went into a defensive pose, keeping the dagger pointed at the woolf. The wolf walked closer to Nathaniel and sat down on its hind legs. Nathaniel looked at it with a surprised look on his face. In his confusion he started to feel a sharp pain in his head. He suddenly tasted some sort of salty and fruity flavor in his mouth and suddenly he was in a short daze. When he snapped out of it, he suddenly heard a voice coming from inside his head. "Don't freak out. Okay!"said a strange girls voice. Nathaniel looked at the wolf and quickly figured it out that the wolf was talking to him. "How are you doing this?"he asked, looking straight at the wolf. "It's something that you do not need to know."she said in is mind. As soon as she said that they heard a sharp scream. "That's Taya's voice. She must be in trouble."said the wolf. As soon as she looked away frm Nathaniel, he ran away into the woods. He heard the wolf saying a few other words in his head. "I can't beleive she saved your life." He stopped running away and started running back the other way. He heard another scream and followed it until he came to a large clearing. At first nothing looked out of the ordanary, until he walked a little farther into the moonlight. There infront of him was Taya, wrapped ever so tightly in barck. He ran towards her and started to rip off the barck, but every time it just grew faster. Suddenly, a branch came at him and bound itself around his arm. He ripped the branch away from his arm, but two more came out and grabbed both of his arms. Taya saw his struggle and wished she could help him. Fianally he looked at her with hopeless eyes. She relized that he was going to leave her in that state, but she was mistaken. He came closer to her, wrapped his arms around her body, and kissed her ever so gently on the lips. The barck quickly swallowed them up. The only thing that was left was a beautiful, white, and silver tree, soaking in the moonlight. Years past by fast and slow. The world in many ways. Laungauges and Traditions fade away slowly and die, like all the people that died in wars. Everything changes in life, even pure magick, except for one thing that still stood and looked the same way as it did when it was first created. This tree was created out of something that you can't put any price on. It was created out of the same substance as the water of life was created from.
The tree stood there once more, soaking in the moonlight. Destined to stay there once more, for many more years.
The End
