Time: 8:42 PM
Ryu ran. He run till he couldn’t anymore. By that time Kyo was at Hiroki’s house doing something. It started to rain. He had only one thing with him besides the clothing that he wore. The stuffed cat. It started to rain so he ran into a area on the road that construction was going on. He walked over to a pipe going inside. It seemed that they where replacing pipes for the sewage or something. He got in hugging his knees when he did. He had the cat close to him a few tears escaping down his face. “I’m…..sorry Kyo.” He held it tight against him. After a while he saw someone pass by the pipe. It appeared to be a girl walking home in the rain. He sneezed and the person looked over at him. She blinked walking over to the pipe. He slowly backed away deeper into the pipe. “H-hello?” She said. He didn’t say anything. “A-are you all right? Where’s your parents….?” He looked over at her. “I…have don’t have parents.” She blinked. “Are you homeless?” She said kneeling down into the pipe. “I…guess you could say that.” She smiled. “Would you like to come with me?” He nodded slowly crawling over to her. “So…what’s your name…lady?” She smiled. “Hatsumi. Yours?” He smiled. “Ryu.” He got out of the pipe going under her umbrella. “Lets go.” She smiled. And they walked off. That’s the last Kyo and Mrs. Nazuke would see him for anther year or two.
Kyo was 21 as well as Ryu. She never forgot about him. She searched for him for a few months giving up after half a year and nothing at all. The lab did searches for him as well finding nothing. Ryu had been living with Hatsumi for the two years he was gone. He had almost forgotten about the lab…but never Kyo or Mrs. Nazuke. Hatsumi knew about Ryu’s secrets being a cat. Able to change ages. She even knew about the lab and room 13. When he went out with Hatsumi he wore a hat. To cover his ears. He also tucked his tail into his belt loop. He liked living with Hatsumi but missed Kyo and his ‘Mother’.
One day Ryu was out while Hatsumi was out at work. He left the house often. Hatsumi let him. But he was out and about going around town. He was dressed in all black. He looked just like some random goth kid. He looked like he was 19 again. He often was in this age period. He walked down the street into a café. When he did he bumped into someone the other person falling. He leaned down holding out his hand. “Sorry.” He said frowning a bit. “Its…all right…” The person got up. She dropped something but she didn’t notice it. “Hmmm?” He leaned down picking it up. It was a key card for the lab. He just stared at it. He turned it around seeing Kyo’s name. He blinked. “K-…..kyo?!” She blinked as he blurted out her name. “Who….are you?” She tilted her head. He handed back her card. “You’ll see.” He smiled taking her arm pulling her out of the café. “Come with me please.” She nodded not to sure who this guy was. Who is this?! She walked with him back to Hatsumi’s house. When he did he told her to come in and sit down in the living room. She did looking around. He went upstairs going to grab the stuffed cat. When he came back down Kyo was looking at the pictures on the wall. He walked up to her the cat behind his back. He smiled. “Oh…your back.” He frowned. “You make that sound like a bad thing…Kyo.” He smiled taking out the stuffed animal showing it to her. She blinked rubbing her eyes. “R-ryu?!”
