Ryu and Kyo where hanging out with a few other people at a resurant talking and such. They where having a good time Ryu was just sitting there listening to everyone talk. When they needed things like drinks refills or something else he got it since he really didnt talk much. He got up getting himself something to eat. He walked up to the counter ordering some french fries. After a while he got them. He sat back down and began eating them. A black van pulled up to the resturant. One of their friends saw it laughing. "It looks like something from some old action movie" He blinked looking over at it. He sighed paying no attention to it. But it would change soon.
A few minutes later the window shatter. Glass shards hitting them. Ow! What happened? Kyo looked over at Ryu in a glare as if he did it. Whats with that look....? Kyo looked on the table seeing something like a pod of some sort. He blinked. "......?" Someone leaned over and poked it. Once they did that gas came out. It was thick and grey like fog. They coughted. When it cleared up Ryu was in his neko form with the tail and ears. They all looked at him with a confuzed look. "What?" He tiled his head stil thinking he was in his human form. Just then a few people came in holding some type of strange guns. They pointed them at Ryu. Great..... He turned into his cat form escaping under the seats into the next booth then out into the open running for the kitchen. They ran after him. They all looked at Kyo. "Whats going on?!" She sighed. "Im...sorry Ryu." Kyo felt bad for saying it even tought she was sopose to keep it a secrect...but who would belive her? I mean a....person thats a cat thats insane! But with proof maybe someone would....? She looked at them. "Hes a cat thats all there is to say" Who are these people?! He tought looking behind him. He ran out the back door going into an allyway. Where do I go?! He ran down the ally but soon hitting an end. He ran back the other way finding out he was trapped between a dead end and death itself. He looked at the men who chased him. They shot the gun mulitple times turning him back into a human. The guns also had a effect on him that made him slightly paralized. Oh great..... Back at the table the resturant they where panicing. "Where is he?!" Kyo got up getting on the table jumping out of the window. She ran down the street looking for him. "Ryu?!" She yelled trying to find him. When she saw the black van parked in the allyway she knew where he was now. She slid on the wall trying to get to get to the other side. She saw Ryu on the ground not moving. She assumed the worse. "No....no....no...." She felt tears going down her cheek. He saw her. "Kyo.....run!!" He hissed before being kicked. "Shut up you half breed!" One of the men growled.
