"Kids I'm home!" I yelled when I opened the door. Scuppers looked up from his homework, sprawled on the ground in the living room. "Welcome back Mom," Scuppers replied, "Are you going to try to make dinner or are we eating microwavables again?" "I want you to meet your new sister! Her name is Jay!" I told him as Jay came into the house, shyly. "Hello, Jay," Scuppers said politely, "But seriously, having too many kids might get you stressed, Mom." "Jay's the last addition in the family. She's older than Angela though. Speaking of Angela, where is she?" I asked. "She's in her room doing whatever little girls do in their rooms," Scuppers replied. I turned to Jay. "Come on, Jay. Let's go meet Angela," I told her, "You'll be sharing a room with her too." "Okay," Jay said and she followed me upstairs. I knocked on Angela's door and opened it. "Angela, come meet your new older sister," I told her. Angela perked up. "Big sister?" she asked, with an excited edge in her voice. "Yes, you'll be sharing a room with her. Her name is Jay," I told her as Angela gave Jay a big hug. Angela can be so blunt sometimes. . . "Well then! We have a complete family now. We won't be expecting new comers any time soon," I said, "Jay come with me and I'll show you around the house." "Okay! Come back and play with me soon, Jay!"
