The clock had shed its golden light,
through wisdom and pain did it grow so bright.
The waters so blue had casted away
Its wrongful hue knowing forever it will stay
The flowers turned from gray to red
The children and elders knew what was said
Her dance to the clock led her to her death
And with each stroke, she wasted her breath
"Come dawn, the golden spear will strike my heart
And when I fall from grace, my body shall depart
Long before you will know of this, the flowers bloom
And the world will not know of this daily gloom"
With her words so sweet and harsh
The people knew not of this terrible farce.
Their bodies were gone but their spirits remain
The god had wept for his efforts were in vain.
The world started over and so did her wishes
Delicate from closer, and fear of affliction
She wandered once again in the new world
Searching for hope hidden and furled.
