Well, I listen to a variety of music.
Not a huge variety, but a variety nonetheless. ;]
Music is a big part of one's life, right?
Without it, it'd be so, so ... bland neutral
I honestly don't know what I would do if there was no such thing as music...O.o
Genres: I will listen to practically anything in the rock genre.
Alternative, metal, progressive, screamo, you name it, I probably listen to it n__n
Pop, punk, techno; sorry I can't think of them off the top of my head.
I'm not a big fan of country or rap/hiphop/r&b, though. Never have been, never will be.
I'm also starting to listen to more indie...n___n

I can listen to their music when I'm sad, happy, mad, or apathetic.
I listen to an artist based on whether or not I like their music and lyrics.
Not whether they're popular, or any of that.
I'm not one of those people who gets sucked in by a catchy tune though mrgreen
I am one of the only people I know who dislikes Metro Station with a passion.
Their songs have no substance IMO. And they repeat the same thing over and over again stare
Paramore, on the other hand...did suck me in xd
Their lyrics aren't as shallow as a lot of other bands, but they do have their fair share.
But their music does always help me out when I'm in a bad or sad mood. ^.^
Just please, don't call me a Parawhore. Cause I'm not, not at all.
I won't condemn you because of the music you listen to.
I mean, to each their own, it's none of my business if you like country or rap.
So, don't criticize my taste in music ... and I won't criticize yours.
