She breathes deeply and leans against a wall,holding herself up. She looks both ways down the alley and then looks at her wrapped wounds. She winces at the pain and her body tenses "I can't stop...I need to escape..." She closes her eyes and a tear falls from her golden eyes "He'll only keep beating you and toying with your mind..." She made herself stand up and keep walking "Its their fault you are a slave. You didnt do anything to deserve this..." She bit her lip and used the wall as a support as she heard voices. She panicked and limped along faster "He sent them after you...He's going to beat you so you'll never run again..." She fell, scraping her knees and her hands, landing in a puddle. She heard voices and footsteps near by, her hope dwindling.
