Some secrets are better left unsaid.
But with passing times I can only think and wonder about darkness's power within these playing field we call the realms; The Realms of Light, Darkness, and the playing field between them where life exists.
Surely over the years it has been said and seen to as what powers lie within the center of the worlds themselves, but I found myself wondering over such powers that could lie on a greater much greater scale.
Years ago, before I even had started to take apprentices in my line of work in research over the stability of worlds and Hearts, a team of excavators had found a large source of power located in the black castle ruins to the south of the ravine; the castle which later became that blasted witch's strong hold in years to come. The power source itself couldn't be moved by anyone who went near it, for they ended up vanishing moments after they tried to get anywhere near the stone. We pronounced those who had disappeared as 'Dead' but now I think back if it was possible if they had turned into Heartless. Curiosity told me to excavate the stone; but reason was what kept the source of the stone's power safe from the minds of the people. Such a power was better left forgotten, and so I had tried to pass it from my mind. We sealed it away behind a door, hoping that the power would go unnoticed to the worlds, but I couldn't have even to have begun to imagine the possibilities that there were others like it in the worlds.
The King had brought it up in the time of his visit to Radiant Garden. In his tales of his own world, he mentioned another stone that held immense power for the stability of his world. The Corner Stone of Light, in which guarded over the world against the forces of Darkness and made his world a safe haven; one that could not be effected by evil, or even the slow laps of time.
The Corner Stone of Light. The Power behind the Door to Darkness. Such power sources that seemed to be more alien then anything I had ever imagined to be.
In the talks though, I couldn't help but wonder more about the Corner Stone, and it's connection to maybe the Heart of the Worlds; Kingdom Hearts. Or to it's opposite, with the Door and the Dark Realm. I wonder even now that these two stones could quite possibly have been even the 'Heart' of the Realm's powers.
Or some sort of shard of a much greater power that had managed to land among us, in the third realm. The realm where Light and Darkness meet in an epic struggle; Twilight.
Three Realms; quite possibly, three stones of power that represent the force of the Realms that the come from. Where the third stone might be located, I dare not want to know.
But I have to wonder if myself and the King managed to stumble upon the stones by chance, then there must be those out there that know fully of the stones capabilities. With the worlds in the state that they are already in, the knowledge of this power should remain a secret. Hidden, possibly, forever, so that no one might use them for a selfish cause.
