The storm is racing
Her heart is pounding
Can she make it back again
His voice still rains
Her tears still strain
Hearing screams of the memory
The thundering crash of the glass
The roaring of her father's words
Tears stream down her face like rain
She's made it through the pain

But can she make it through the storm
Just a little wine to calm the nerves
She takes it down without a sound

All the time he's taken
And all the trust he's broken

And she's seen into the light
Her faith's beyond shattered
She's beyond tathered
As her eyes stream the tears like rain
Still she struggles with the pain
Hiding in the clash from the broken glass
As the warnings from her mother roar like thunder
She realizes she's caught in a blunder
