I don't understand why I can't handle stress well. I'm not talking about the everyday kind of stress like traffic or rude people, but that kind of stress that can only come from conflict or confrontation. How is that when I need my mind and body to be at its sharpest and strongest, that I find myself unable to string together coherent thoughts with shaky hands and possible a queasy stomach. It's like my "fight or flight" tends to demand the later! But as long as I have the courage to continually confront what daunts me, I have to have faith in myself that I will find the strength to get through it.
