A massive number of the teenage community is on this site... and it only makes me wonder. What are they going to do with their lives? It seems as though they are online constantly and are working towards nothing.
But appearances are decieving. Yeah, I'm online constantly. It's 'cause I got nothin' better to do, like most people on online communities and "roleplaying", etc. For example, your own insane keyboardist is entering a math competition. Yes, I've got a brain. And I know how to use it, too! mrgreen I'm pretty psyched for the meet on May 8th, but, then again, I'm kinda uncomfortable about it. After all, I'm one of the youngest people competing from my school. (The staff who are looking for kids to be on the team really want me to be on the team... you had to be recommended to be put on it... and they really want me to be on it. It's not like I'm not like John Nash.... ninja He's the greatest mathmatician to have ever lived. People called him psychotic, but I say he's misunderstood and with one of the world's most brilliant minds... he's created various things from the Game Theory to Nash's game... which is similar to Go, by the way.)
But... getting to my point here, anyone can be good at something. It just takes a lot of time, hard work, and especially DETERMINATION. If you aren't determined to do something, then you won't succeed and try your best, now will you? I'm afraid the answer to that question is a big, juicy, "No". 3nodding
If you're going to a game, competition, or whatever, here's some helpful advice for you if you're bad with pressure:
Relax. If that's hard, then imagine how good you can be. You could be the top star in the whole show/performance, whatever. Get your adrenaline pumping, and everything will turn out okay. Once you get your adrenaline going, you can find that you won't "choke" onstage or wherever. I've done enough junk on stage and performances to know what it's like and how to react.
Well, high school prom is coming up. Hope you upper-classmen got your gowns/suits ready (or is at least in the process in getting them ready)!
