Starting today I will start reviewing the games I'm currently playing or recently beaten. Let's get things started with a review of one of the biggest games of the year!
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
I love the GTA series, I've been playing it ever since the first one came out. And Rockstar loves this series (the most, apparently seeing their other games stare ) they strive to expanding, changing, and overall inovating their over-the-top series. This is most evident in GTA: San Andreas. They expanded this game to three cities the size of Vice City themselves, so you can expect to be playing this game for a looooong time. Rockstar has now added a role-playing element. You can work out and you'll get really buff, eat a lot and get really fat, and get skinny. You "level up" in certain catagories:mucscle, fat, driving skill, lung capacity, stamina, gun accuracy, biking skill, cycleing skill, etc. If you haven't noticed, this game is HUGE, you can spend fifty hours alone doing side missions and not leave the first city yet. The story is this: You are CJ, you've ran away from your home five years ago and went to live in Liberty City. But now your back, and your mamma's been killed. You need to find out what happened to your mamma and get your gang, back on top. The graphics and sound are amazing, although I did wish they would put more lighting in it, I can barely see at night! This game has some fun missions but they soon grow repetitive. Overall I think this is a step up for the GTA series, but not as high as I would've hoped. Some things in this game were a big let down, yet I still came away from the game loving the GTA series more than ever. I give it a 90%
Edit: I will still be making regular entries
