YaY!
So, yesterday
I had my first staff meeting for my summer job
cause it's a scout camp y'know
and the staff have such strict rules.
I knew they would, but some rules were still a bit of a suprise,
And thankfully they gave us discount cards for getting scout uniforms.
Cause they're really expensive, and scouting jobs don't pay all that well
but I have to get a venturing uniform. WHich is a green shirt instead of khaki
and I have to get official grey pants
and if I choose to wear shorts, I have to get the green socks with red hems.
and I have to tuck my shirt in
and wear either a scouting belt, or a plain belt
Thankfully I have a really nice belt I made
at Philmont a few years back.
and because I'm staff, I get to wear silver epilets!
YaY!
And they're giving me a bunch of staff t-shirts
and a hat
and since the camp is really high altitude,
and still has snow most of the summer
they're giving us coats!
full out coats!
hilarious huh?
But we have to look really nice every day
the people in charge were like
"We have showers for the staff,
Guaranteed, they're not the warmest water,
but USE THEM!! AT LEAST once a day!"
And we have to make our hair look nice,
and we have to keep our clothes clean.
It's a really strict dress code.
but for now, IT'S SPRING BREAK!!
