B
Verdak Kroth/male/Githzerai/ true neutral/ wizard/ The Transcendant order
Str:8 Dex:18 Con:10 Int: 19 Wis: 17 Chr:15
Verdak is a guant githzarei male, he stands 6'10" and weighs in a 124 pounds. He dresses in an unusual fashion, he is also 43 years of age. He wears a tunic where the left side of it is completely white, the right is completely black, the two colors meet in the center to form a grey weave. He has two sashes. A red one that hangs from his left shoulder that is woven in with the grey fabric to his right hip. A blue Sash hangs from right shoulder down to his left hip. This fabric all meets at the center to form a grayish purple coloration. His skin is a yellowed parchment color. On his head his black hair is kept in a topknot above his scalp. On his actual scalp he has tattooed a map of all the outer planes.on his hands tattoed ar the inner planes. When held together his hands are in effect a map of the elemental planes. His eyes are a dark amber color, however these a rarely seen because he is commonly seen wearing a blind fold. He wears a single knife in his belt, along with a pair of grey trousers. In his Spell book he has Chill Touch, Chromatic Orb,Color spray, and magic Missile.
The Transcendant Order: This faction beleives that in order to be pure of mind you must harmonize your body to work with your mind at all times. The most purest action is action without thoughr. The Transcendant order strives for personal harmony (which is viewed with some suspicion by the harmonium, who themselves wish for universal peace and harmony)
*Editors note. My new interviewer approached Verdak and said not a word, before the githzerai began to speak.
"You wish for an interview? then I shall give you an interview. I am Verdak Kroth of the Transcendant Order. I am also a wizard. You wish to know me, then know me you shall. I was born in sigil, far from Limbo in the clerks ward to githzerai parents, whom ran a business in sigil, importing and exporting. I had a talent for the arts at a young age and was immediately taught how to use them. As I began to grow, the world around me grew too. I saw that there are too many extremes in the multiverse. Extremes are too dangerous. The outer planes and inner planes of extremes. As are the prime material worlds. Krynn attempts to hold sway of balance, yet fails because historically Good defeated evil, yet after the chaos war evil usurped good. You may see a blance I do not. A balance would mean that both "good" and "evil" would hold equal control of Krynn. Athas is filled with those who manipulate and kill. Faerun is filled with those who strive towards purity."
" Who am I you ask? I am the brightest darkness and the darkest brightness. Order within chaos and the chaos within order. I see myself as a blancing force. I joined the transcendant order because they belive in balancing ones mind and body. WHen a balance is acheived only then will true purity of the planes be known. Githzerai stride to make balance, yet we do not because of chaos."
"Has this interview been enough my young friend? Or shall I speak more? The Transcendant order strives for balance. Balance of the mind, balance of the soul and Balance of the body. The other factions cannot.. The Athars beleif in the fact that the powers are not really as high and mighty is wrong.. how can something that creates life just on whim be weak? The beleivers of The Source are misguided, they beleive themselves to be constantly reincarnated, some beleive they have lived before. How are they to know if they have been re-born? One does not remember there pasts when they are given a new mind, body, soul and name. The Bleak Cabal is lost they think the multiverse has no meaning. The universe has meaning to it, one must find there own personal meaning, not all is bleak and lost. The Doomguard's philosphy about everything breaking down and destruction is childish. All things destroy themselves yes, decay is a natural part of the universe, if they beleive so strongly in entropy, why hasn't there faction fallen apart? The Dustmen beleive that we are already dead and have died. If so then why do we still feel emotions? The Fated are covetous and greedy, why serach for joy in money? why hoard and rarely use? SO what you can take, anyone stronger, bigger or more powerful can take from you. The Fraternity of order looks for legal loopholes. Some lays are too simplistic that loopholes cannot exist. The free league is far too varied and would be impossible to unify with so many people flying the flags of individuality. The Harmonium strives for universal peace and harmony, what good is peace and harmony if its under a tyrannical dictator. Some creatures view chaos as harmoniuous, others law. The Mercykillers belive that punishment leads to perfection. If that was so, all children who were punished would be perfect. The Revolutionary league is flawed, because they beleive we will know the truth once order has fallen, if order falls then how will countries and city states be improved? The Sign of One beleives that thought is what moves the multiverse. They are close, it is beleif and actions. Beleif and actions has caused Plaguemort to slip in and out of the Abyss on repeated occasions. The Society of Sensation are lost Hedonists... And the Xaosect is just far to chaotic to amount to any longterm plans."*
* the new interviewer of Verdak Kroth came to me wearing the faction symbol of the transcendant order. He told me to meet with this githzerai at some point. He said he spoke very convincingly.
