Part one of Moon Heart Tree.
As the moon was rising the tree's rustled in the wind as a young elf stepped into the moonlight. He had a nice tall feature, he was very handsome in the face, his hair was blonde and straight, and his eyes were a deep blue as he looked down upon the small bundle that he held tight against his chest so the wind could not disturbe it. He walked faster and faster deep into the forest. As he came to a large Cherry Tree he gently setted the bundle under the tree, then he ran back out of the woods. The night wore on as it bacame colder and colder. Midnight came and the wood's wolves became restless, for it was time to hunt. The wolves howled at the moon to show that the mighty hunt had begun. The bundle under the Cherry Tree began to move and cried so loud that the wolves attention was on it. They moved around it and slowly closing in on the bundle until one attacked. "Swoosh!" went a branch against the wolfs belly. The Cherry Tree's pink blossoms fell off the branches and slowly started to move. Circling the tree going faster and faster every time a blossom was added to the circle, until a young woman appeared right in the middle of the circle and stepped between the bundle and the wolves. "Stay out of this Boe!" cried the leader of the wolves. "No! I shall not allow you to harm this child Joeselyn." said Boe. Boe had a young look, her hair was brown with cherry blossoms all around in her hair, and her eyes were pink like all Cherry Tree's. "Why is this child so special then all thee others that we have hunted and eaten under you?" asked Joeselyn. "Her father is an elf. Elf blood runs through her vains. Can you not tell?" Joeselyn came up to the baby and sniffed it. "The treaty clearly states.....I know what the treaty says. snapped Joeselyn. "If we allow the child to live then may I ask what are we going to do with the her?" "We will make her our protector and we shall name her Taya." "You really think she is the one?" "Yes." "Very well!"
