As darkness closes in
all the tears with in
Begin to fall real far
why is it that
I feel like this
what do I miss
Maybe its not
meant to be
So why can't I breathe
why can't I see
That maybe its
not meant to be
Maybe its
not meant for me.
My legs tremble
as I walk alone
My body feels hard
and stiff just like a stone
I lack what I need
but if I pull through
Maybe for once I will
be able to see
And for once
be able to breathe
But I still can't breathe
and I still can't see
Maybe its
not meant to be
Maybe its
not meant for me.
So I will go on
trying to live my life
And live it with someone
who gives me a reason
To breathe again
who makes me see straight
And allows me to live
my life unbent.
