In the morning we got woken by Takaway who told us to get our armor on.
I got out on deck and checked what was going on.
We had crashed to a bunch of remote sand islands with an army of Mermen around us.
"s**t." said Takaway as he stood there watching the horde of Mermen.
"Hey Kakashi at least Aquaton is dead."
"yeah."
We all stood watching over the side of the boat.
As catapults were pulled out of the water.
"oh cra-"
"FIRE!"
Boulders from the bottom of the sea floor came firing at us hitting the ship and making holes that would make the ship sink.
"ABANDON SHIP!"
every one started jumping of the ship in to battle on the sand islands.
Kino ran towards me saying"come on Kakashi we gotta get of the ship!"
He pushed me of and then he jumped of.
I landed and drew my sword and slashed through the mermen before me.
The rest of the platoon landed by us and we went through the mermen forces as a rush of power and fury!
"DON'T SHOW THE ANY WEAKNESS AND NO MERCY!" Takaway shouted to us as we battled.
It was then I started to think of my friends in Gaia at the moment properly having a really good time in towns or something. All my sisters and brothers.
All of them I might have to say good bye.
I cut and slashed at the mermen as I my self felt the feeling of being stabbed.
A spear was thrown at me inches away but Takaway jumped and took the spear in his own stomach.
"TAKAWAY!"
I killed the merman and rushed to Takaways side.
"Sir why did you?"
He looked at me.
"I was going to be the Kings body guard but I guess if you died who would become the next body guard after me."
he paused and clutched his wound.
"Its better that you become body guard now."
"Sir.."
He asked me one thing before he died.
"Promise me Kakashi you will protect the King till the day he lies in his bed an old mighty King."
"I will"
Takaway drew his last bit of air.
"See you in the after life."
The battle lasted another night.
A nights worth of injury and hurt some said.
A ship came and picked the remainder of the army up.
"Guess im not going to have to say good bye after all"
