Okay. Well, truthfully, the term "emo" comes from "Emotive Hardcore" and you can't have Emotive Hardcore hair. Actually, those "emo haircuts" are Scene. I would know. I'm a Scene kid if ya wanna label me. That aside, Scene is all about being unique. There is no one hairstyle, but if you wanna go with the crowd, you should go the barber (or even at home works, I've found) and take a razor to the ends. No, the first time, go to the barber and ask them to layer it, using only the razor in the front. And in the back, tell them to do the same. To get it to spike it up in the back, use Got 2 B gel and then use the same brand of any kind of wax or pomade on ends of the layers. (This is important. Using wax or Pomade at the roots will make you look greasy, dirty, and oh so unattractive) Oh! Prior to using wax or pomade, make sure you straighten the hair. You can direct the straightener in certain ways to make your hair flow that way. A nifty trick we used on my friend over the weekend to help him out is we gelled his bangs in the way he wanted them to go and didn't let him wash it out all weekend. Make sure when you use a straightener (whether it be only from time to time or twice a day), you also use a heat protection lotion or spray on your hair. A small thing of Hairspray helps it stay in place after you've styled it too. Another tip is to use Suave Sleek Anti-Frizz Liqui-Gel every time you get out of the shower. It make your hair look sleek and really gets rid of all of the friz! (:
this is going to be a lot of help right?
