It's in the repair shop
cause yesterday.
the bridge broke
and so, It's getting a new bridge
but they also decided to
fix the crack
(Which is good, It needed to be fixed)
And they claim that the A-peg won't set
so they're replacing that too.
but it's never given me a problem before.
The pegs were just replaced last year.
and they work fine!
Ah well...
but the catch
There's always a catch isn't there?
I have a concert in 2 days
I have a duet in that concert
in 2 days
I had to change a lot of the notes
in that duet
to be played in 2 days
and the bridge broke
just after I changed the notes
to be played
in 2 days
so I haven't practiced the revised duet
to be played in 2 days
and guess when I get my cello back?
1 to 2 days.
But they were working on it today
so I hope
I'll get it back tomorrow
in time to practice
and especially since the other cellists in the orchestra
can't stay on beat without me
I HAVE to have my cello back
in 2 days.
I am scared
k, rant over biggrin
cause yesterday.
