I am the angel of the night
flying high flying low
gently tucking children tight
then flying out the window
Flying up and flying down
I check if everyone's asleep
visiting everyone in town
and all who cry and all who weep
I am the angel of the night
protecting everyone while they dream
keep them from darkness and into the light
so they can sustain the dream stream
