My story
There once was a girl. Her name shall not be mentioned.
She felt alone. There she sat. On a bench in the park.
She just sat there, hoping everything would just happen.
Waiting for everything to just fall into her lap and be perfect.
Everyday she sat there. Nothing happened.
She felt she should give up.
She came one last time. That day, it finally happened.
She sat on the bench.
A boy walking his dog sat on the bench next to her. His dog jumped up onto her lap and licked her face. She smiled.
She looked into his eyes. She felt as if the angels were singing.
"I think he likes you," he said with a smile.
She giggled.
They introduced themselves.
"So.. why are you here anyway?" he asked.
She was distracted. To her, his lips read "Kiss Me."
She then answered, "OH.. um what?"
"I asked you why you were here."
"Oh.." she paused. She didn't know what to say. She finally answered "I'm just uh.. watching the people go by."
"Cool. "
"Not really.. "
Awkward pause..
"Well, I guess I should be going. Catch you tomorrow?"
"Oh what?"
"I'm walking my dog again tomorrow. Will I see you here?"
"Oh, uh, yeah."
"Cool." He smiled.
"Wait, I didn't catch your name."
"The name's Josh."
"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow." She smiled.
She finally had hope. She felt life was worth living.
The next day, she shows up right on time. He sits down next to her and the dog once again jumps up into her lap.
"So, how long have you lived here?" he asked.
"Just about my whole life. You?"
"I just moved here from L.A. I must say I like it here much better."
"Cool." She said with a smile. "So what's your dog's name?"
"Hulk." he laughed. "He may be small but he can pack a powerful punch."
"Aw. " she giggled.
"Well, I gotta go. See you tomorrow!"
"See ya!"
They continued meeting at the park every morning, growing closer and closer together.
Then one night she got a text from him saying "Meet me at the park"
She got there and saw him sitting on the bench.
"Hey. Why did you want me to meet you here?" she said.
"I thought maybe we could look at the stars together."
"That sounds great!"
They walked over to a spot on the grass and layed down together side by side. There seemed to be a million stars twinkling. They gazed into each others eyes. Their gaze wandered to each others lips. Then they both saw it. Both pairs of lips read kiss me. They leaned in and it happened.
All of her dreams came true.
She layed her head on his chest and fell asleep listening to his heart beat.
Both of their hearts going a mile a minute.
Everything was perfect.
It began to rain. They both didn't give a care in the world. They kept each other warm. This was love.
