This applies to Star Wars and Hitchikers.
I have noticed that many fanatical people get upset when an author or director changes something in a movie. Like 'Ford is supposed to be white' or 'Greedo shouldn't shoot first'.
I am sure Lucas and Douglas are/were very appriciative of all the fans. But it is not the fans choice to have all the actors in hitchiker to be British, or for JarJar to be tortured slowly over a spit.
Appreciate the movie as is, don't compare to some fantasy version you got in your mind while reading, or be disappointed that the director was given enough budget to change it back to the way he originally wanted it to be shot.
((This rant assumes that as the credits indicate Douglas did play a big part in writing the movie script and is brought to you by the letter Porkchop))
