Tallest Height (ok. now i'm writing a story.)
The two companions walked into the bar and looked around. Nothing much. Normal drunk men hitting on the waitress, the waitress scared to serve men another drink, a few here or there singing their drunk tunes. They were looking for someone in particular. The spotted her. In the back right hand corner in a black cloak. Of course it was black. Black was her favorite color.
The two walked over to the table, avoiding the drunks, and the constant thrown objects of a fight. They stopped at the table and stood there waiting for her to notice they were there. She was one of the unaware type of people so to surprise her was easy. She looked up with her hood over shadowing most of her face. The little part you could see was her mouth. She gave a somewhat crooked smile and gestured to the other chairs across the piece of flat wood. They sat down and took off their own hoods.
They were two girls that looked somewhere around similar. Its just a basic things about twin sisters.
“Well it’s nice to finally be able to talk to you again Hazel. What was the problem before?” the shorter one of the two asked inpationtally.
“Well ya know that the bounty is high…it’s risky to come out into public. Even for you… I’m surprised that you two were even able to get from Nartion to here with out being caught.” Hazel gave a light chuckle.
“It wasn’t easy. You know how our family has such high status that we’re on the boat to death if we’re caught. I see why they think that this business is wrong though. Aubra isn’t the type to take on the family business though. And neither am I.” The taller one said.
“Nartion has been crowded with cops and officers. Grace was able to go out into public with a low profile though. So she snuck us a boat and we left. I say good rediencse.” Aubra spat.
Here sat some of the biggest thieves of the area. Grace Aliki, master mind of the plans. Hazel, the immature sneak. And Aubra Aliki, the one that makes sure nothing gets in the way of the plan. The twins of high class and the other just from no where. The three had to split up after a certain steal…
“Heh. Most people wouldn’t of lived through that. Consider yourselves fortunet,” Hazel leaned back with a smartaliki grin, “I for one am happy your still alive. Couldn’t work with out the main crew now could we?” she chuckled again.
“Well what about Alex? Where is that girl? She was just as involved as we were!” Aubra said harshly pounding her fist on the table.
“Aubra, Aubra, Aubra. She’s covering for us remember. She can get herself out of any situation so she’s helping us. No enemy among the blamed.” Grace told her calmly.
“Well that goes unless it’s on the death bed…same goes to Sav. She’s with her helping out. Ya know they tag team perfectly.” Hazel smirked.
“Then again, she is the governer’s lil girl.” Aubra muttered. She may have been just as high class, but she never cared for people at that level.
Then the door was slammed open and the music and merriment stopped. Everyone looked an they saw five officers standing at in the door way. The twins shot their hoods up over their heads. The head officer that seem to be leading them looked around slowly.
“Who here knows where I can find the Aliki twins and this Hazel girl?” the officer demanded. The keeper of the pub walked up to the officers.
Hazel leaned over to them and whispered, “That guys a friend, he’ll cover for us. Besides, if he didn’t it’s bad buisness for him.”
“Well I have heard of them but I’m sorry, they are not here. Last time I saw them, they were planning to head back to Nartion to pick up more people for their crew.” The keeper said humbly.
The officer gave him a dirty look and then told him. “Fine, but if you do see them, tell us immediately.”
“Of course, of course. I shall officer. Have a nice night” He bid them good-bye. When the officer left he turned around and smiled walking back to his office.
The music and merriment came back on.
“Well that was close.” Grace said relieved. They saw one of the waitresses come over. She stopped at the table and looked at them.
“So you’re the three they were wanting?” she asked dryly. The three nodded. She leaned down close to them and said quietly, “You aren’t going to be able to out run them for long…so why not make it worth while? Their going to expect you guys to run around where the most valuble stuff lies. But no one in the living life knows where the thing that could change the world is…all they know is that the key that is now missing is what opens it. I’m just saying…if you stay on a path to it, you’ll stay free.” She stood up and walked away.
“Key? Isn’t what we stole? Some key?” Aubra questioned after she left pulling her hood back down, reviling short brown hair and a pale face.
The other two did the same, Grace showing a bit longer brown hair both with brown eyes. Hazel had hazel eyes which suited her name, and shoulder length blackish brown hair.
The waitress came back quickly and dropped a book on the table and ran off just leaving it. Grace stared at it then opened it and started reading the first page.
“Cries of sins Tellers of past Wanters of future Livers of present Found before you is what a journey leads,” she flipped the page and started reading again. “The Emogin is the treasure of the world, acssed by only a key, has-” Grace was interrupted by Hazel jumping out of her chair with a start.
“Key! I know what their talking about! That thing we stole, in the case was a key! Ugh! I’m such an idiot!” She said hitting her forehead with her palm.
“Key? What did it look like?” Grace asked confused. 'Key? Why in the world was a key being hidden so dilegen- man were stupid.' She thought.
“Well I looked at it only a couple of times, but it was silver with three stones in the ring, the design lock part had just the normal two sticks like on little kid projects,” She said all in one breath then noticed the book and a picture on it, “Like that!” she yelled pointing to the picture.
A smile crept up onto Aubra’s face. “Hehe. So now all we have to do is find this Emogin. And the world is outs?”
“That was a good idea then Hazel. To steal that box, now most the work is over for this quest. So give us the key. It says here that the key will help tell us where the Emogin is.” Grace said holding a hand out for the key.
Hazel got a nervous smile and Aubra started to fume. “You lost it, didn’t you?” “No. I didn’t lose it.” “Then where is it?” “With the person that may lose it.” “You?” “No, the person that stole it.” “What?!” The twins yelled in disbelief. Well Grace in disbelief, and Aubra in anger. “Who stole it?” Grace asked still shocked. “Some guy with a ship called the ‘Bloody Baren’. I seriously don’t know.” Hazel shrugged. Grace sighed. “Well then let a new quest begin to steal our key back.”
