My second post. I have a suspicion that I'll be addicted to Journals as much as anything else on Gaia. <_< I also like to read other people's journals. The first thing I did was check the entries of those on my Friendlist. xd Then I read Extremely Insane's journal, because she replied to my first entry. 3nodding Reciprocating is fun. Though, I forgot to post a comment in her journal until now. ^^; So this morning I was bored, and I clicked the "All" list, clicked a random page number, and started skimming all the journal listings until I saw someone I recognized. Then I'd read the entry. xd But what's a little scary is that when I clicked a random page number (I think it was page 50 when I did it), I saw my own journal entry. What are the chances of that? surprised
Gaian News
The September Items and Letters are pretty highly priced today. I still haven't opened my Letters yet. The Vend isn't working for me at the moment, either. stressed Gaia's pretty buggy right now. gonk I'll be going to bed soon because of it.
What else? Oh, I was going to post this yesterday, but forgot. I made a wishlist for my friend Klip. We were IMing each other (which I hardly ever do) and she said she wanted a wishlist. I said that I always wanted to try making one. So I did. But it took a lot longer than I thought it would, because I had never done one before. sweatdrop I had to reshuffle a lot of things, because it was much too big the first time around. And I tried making her avatar a little less pixelated (since I enlarged it somewhat) but it didn't really work. xp Whatever. I did it for free. xd
Anime!
Read or Die (the TV) Well, now I've seen the first two episodes of "Read or Die", the TV version. I'm still awed by the power of paper. whee They people with the super power of paper are called Paper Masters. I find that amusing. What I also like about the series is that the characters are so human. There was only one Paper Master in the OAVs, but there are three in the TV series. All of them can do wonderful, imaginative things with paper, but none of them are "superheroes". That is, they aren't slick and stylish at all. It's great their character designs are like that. whee It makes them a lot more likeable, and leaves a lot of room for character development. What's more, the main character in the TV series who is not a Paper Master seems a lot tougher than the ones who are. She yells at them and beats them up a bit. And the Paper Masters sit down and take it. xd How's that for a twist? Though I really shouldn't call them Paper Masters, because that is not the definition of their characters. I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes. 3nodding
My Speakers
Right. I named this post about my speakers, and didn't get writing about them until the end. *cough* I almost forgot about them. Anyway, I have speakers attached to my computer. One of them is tempermental, and right now is one of those times. No sound is coming out of it. Sometimes if I shake it around a bit, then it starts working. That hasn't worked yet, though. -tries unplugging it- Nope, that doesn't work either. xp So right now I'm listening to Yuki Kajiura's "Key of the Twilight" from .hack//SIGN on one speaker. crying Maybe it'll work in the morning. Good night.
