Manholes,
You think sewers and gross.

Manholes,
I feel protected and reassured by the five spirits who live in them.

Manholes,
You think darkness and unknown.

Manholes,
I see the darkness there filled with guidance and wisdom in embracing the balance in all things.

Manholes,
You think of man working around them.

Manholes,
I see as a home to five spirits who protect us with the Art of Ninjitsu and just want to be left alone in peace.

They're just gentle spirits who live underneath the manholes and don't wish us harm, but to guide and protect.
